Randall W. Black is a partner with Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP. He specializes in the representation of developers, homebuilders, investors and lenders in real estate transactions, including joint ventures and limited liability companies, purchases and sales and commercial and residential real estate development. He has had extensive involvement in the work-out, restructuring and foreclosure of real estate investments, including both loan and partnership relationships.

Mr. Black is a graduate of the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley, where he was Associate Editor of the California Law Review, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from UCLA. Mr. Black lectures frequently to industry and professional groups on the legal aspects of residential and commercial real estate development and financing. He has published numerous articles relating to real estate law and development.

Mr. Black is a past Chairman of the UCLA Extension/Los Angeles Times Real Estate Forecast and of the Real Property Section of the Century City Bar Association.
